The 19th Annual Fork Shoals Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 3 pm.
The Fork Shoals Christmas Parade, held on the first Sunday after Thanksgiving, is always the first Christmas Parade of the season. All spectators and participants are welcome.
For those who want to enter in the parade, just show up at our staging area at Fork Shoals Baptist Church (110 Fork Shoals Church Rd., Pelzer) at 2:00 on Nov. 26. After you sign a liability release, you will be assigned a place in the parade. All entrants are welcome (car, tractor, horse, golf cart, walkers, helicopter, etc). All entries must be Christmas themed. And, remember, throwing candy for the kids is a big part of the Fork Shoals tradition.
The parade is about one mile long, mostly downhill. It will begin at Fork Shoals Baptist Church, go through downtown Fork Shoals and then end at Cedar Falls Park, where the kids can visit with Santa. Small town, country hospitality is guaranteed!
